Presbyterian Women

Members are all women of the church. We commit ourselves to love and serve others, to work for peace, to support missions worldwide, to support the Christian faith, and to nurture our own faith by the study of God's word.

We invite all women of Community Presbyterian Church to participate. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (September - June) in member's homes. We begin at 7:00 pm with dessert, followed by devotions, a study program, and a brief business meeting.  We have been using the Horizon study "For everything, a season". A study of the liturgical calendar.

Here are some tangible examples of our commitment:

• Fulfilling a yearly pledge to the National PW Organization
• Sewing hospital gowns for infants, children and adults in overseas hospitals
• Rolling bandages from sheets for hospital use overseas
• Preparing personal and first aid kits for Tsunami victims and Northland Rescue Mission in North Dakota
• Supporting the local activities of our own CPC Mission committee
• Coordinating the setup and use of the CPC kitchen
